Collegial case consultations are consultations between colleagues in which specific concerns from the professional context are discussed according to a predefined structure and solutions and ideas for solutions are developed together. In contrast to informal discussions, the focus is on a targeted and systematic exchange. You can find dates for getting to know collegial case consultation in the OPAL course Collegial case consultation at the Center for Continuing Education (GER)
In mediation, specially trained mediators act as independent third parties to help resolve conflicts constructively. They are impartial, i.e. they support all sides and provide a framework in which everyone's view of the problem can be appropriately acknowledged. The aim of mediation is to reach a joint agreement that meets the needs and interests of all parties and allows them to look constructively to the future. The procedures themselves are confidential. As part of the further development of conflict management at TU Dresden, a circle of mediators is available to supplement existing services, from which a suitable person can be appointed if required.
Mediation is a cooperative service offered by the Health Service and the Center for Continuing Education.
