Program for the event
12 pm – Presentation of the master's program Water Security and Global Change
The session will provide an overview of the newly established Joint Master Program in Water Security and Global Change, a collaboration between TU Dresden, RWTH Aachen, and IITM in Chennai, India. This innovative study program is tailored to address the critical intersection of water resources, global environmental shifts, and societal impacts. Its primary goal is to empower students with a holistic understanding of the complex dynamics shaping our water landscape.
Through a multidisciplinary approach, students will gain the knowledge, skills, and ethical awareness needed to address the urgent challenges of water security in our rapidly changing world. As environmental changes accelerate, the demand for innovative solutions and resilient policies becomes increasingly pressing. Graduates of this program will emerge well-equipped to take on key roles in shaping sustainable water policies, implementing transformative solutions, and fostering resilience in the face of evolving climates and growing water-related concerns. We extend a warm invitation to passionate individuals from Environmental and Engineering backgrounds to apply and join us in crafting a more secure and equitable water future for all.
