She studied mathematics at the TH Dresden. After graduating, she completed her doctorate here with honours in 1919. This makes her the first female doctoral student at TU Dresden. She worked as a teacher at various girls' schools in Dresden and was appointed a teacher in 1926. After her retirement, she taught freelance in the distance learning programme at the TH Dresden. Born in Dresden in 1904, she was an expert in aerodynamics and aerofoil research and completed her doctorate in mathematics and physics at the TH Dresden. She studied medicine until 1910 & was previously head of the women's medical department at Chemnitz City Hospital. This ended with the marriage. Due to her husband's loss of assets and illness, she studied again. In 1922 she enrolled to study economics at the TH Dresden. She received her doctorate in 1928.
